NRS 624.700 It is unlawful for any person or combination of persons to engage in the business or act in the capacity of a contractor within this state or submit a bid on a job situated within this state without having an active license.

NRS 624.720 It is unlawful for any person to advertise as a contractor unless he has a license in the appropriate classification.  “Advertising” includes but is not limited to any sign, card, device, marking on a motor vehicle, newspaper, magazine, airway transmission, Internet or telephone directory.
